Rawbit Foundation Hosts Menstrual Health Awareness Workshop and Distribution Camp
YAVATMAL: In a significant move toward promoting menstrual hygiene and breaking social taboos, the Rawbit Foundation organized a comprehensive health and hygiene workshop at Montessori Shikshan Mandir, Montessori Primary School, and the Women’s College of Education in Yavatmal. The event commenced with a tribute to Savitribai Phule, the pioneer of women's education in India, as guests performed a ceremonial image worship. The program was graced by several prominent figures, including Principal Jayashree Upadhyay, newly elected Municipal Councilor Sangeetatai Bobde, and Rural Seva Mukti Trust District Coordinator Madhuri Chaudhary. Focus on Health and Hygiene The primary objective of the workshop was to provide adolescent girls with scientifically accurate information regarding menstruation. Key topics included: The importance of hygiene and healthy habits. Dispelling common myths and misconceptions surrounding the menstrual cycle. Guidance on using clean sanitary pads to prevent infections and related health issues. Empowering Students Following the instructional sessions, the foundation distributed free sanitary pads to all students in attendance. An interactive Q&A session allowed the girls to openly discuss their concerns and clarify doubts in a supportive environment. Members of the Rawbit Foundation, including Director Mayur Bhoyar and Public Relations Officer Prashant Borade, were present to facilitate the event alongside school staff members.
Workshop on “Unlock the Secrets of Publishing Your Research Paper” Organized by Rawbit Foundation
The Rawbit Foundation, in collaboration with the Government College of Engineering, Yavatmal, successfully organized a one-day workshop titled “Unlock the Secrets of Publishing Your Research Paper” on 23/09/2025. The session was conducted by Mr. Mayur R. Bhoyar, Founder and President of Rawbit Foundation and Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Jagadambha College of Engineering and Technology, Yavatmal. The workshop aimed to equip students, researchers, and young academicians with practical insights into the process of writing, structuring, and publishing high-quality research papers in reputed journals and conferences. During the session, Mr. Bhoyar shared valuable guidance on: Selecting impactful research topics and journals. Structuring manuscripts effectively (Abstract, Methodology, Results, and Conclusion). Avoiding plagiarism and enhancing paper originality. Navigating the peer-review and publication process. Identifying predatory journals and understanding indexing systems (Scopus, Web of Science, UGC-CARE). Participants engaged actively in discussions and received actionable tips for improving the visibility and citation of their research. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the organizing committee, who appreciated Rawbit Foundation’s initiative in promoting academic excellence and supporting young researchers in their publication journey.
Free Health Checkup Camp at Wadgaon Road
Organized a comprehensive free health checkup camp at Saibaba Nagar, Wadgaon Road. Over 900 community members received free medical consultations, Eye Glasses, blood pressure and sugar level tests, and medicines. Doctors provided health education on preventive care, nutrition, and hygiene practices. The camp was highly appreciated by local residents.
Women Self-Help Group Formation Meeting
Facilitated the formation of a new women's self-help group with 25 members from rural areas of Yavatmal. The meeting focused on discussing entrepreneurship opportunities, financial literacy, and collective savings. Women showed great enthusiasm to start small businesses in tailoring, handicrafts, and food processing.
Tree Plantation Drive - 500 Saplings Planted
Celebrated World Environment Day by organizing a massive tree plantation drive in collaboration with local schools and community volunteers. Successfully planted 500 saplings including neem, banyan, and fruit-bearing trees across various locations in Yavatmal district. Students and volunteers pledged to nurture these plants for a greener future.
